Principles
Our coalition is built on the belief that true democracy cannot exist under the rigid control of political parties and their enforced loyalty through the party whip. By eliminating political parties, we aim to free elected representatives from the constraints of party discipline, allowing them to vote based on their conscience and the best interests of their constituents rather than following orders from party leadership. This shift would foster genuine debate, diverse perspectives, and policymaking that reflects the will of the people, not the priorities of a centralized party machine.
Additionally, we believe that election promises should be more than just empty rhetoric. That’s why we insist that all candidates in our coalition sign a performance contract, holding them accountable for their campaign commitments. If an elected representative fails to uphold their promises without justifiable cause, they could face legal and electoral consequences, ensuring that politicians can no longer deceive voters without repercussions. This policy would restore trust in government by making honesty and accountability non-negotiable principles in public service.
